about

Krate once again teams up with a number of incredible talents on their 4th endeavour named It's The Hope That Kills You.
Five tracks of electro industrial spanning the full spectrum of what this subgenre encompasses.

The opening track And All The Prayers Lost is a brutal and hard hitting juggernaut that sees Chris and Roland collaborating with musical mastermind Anatoly "Tokee" Grinberg (Dead Voices On Air) and drummer extraordinaire Dan Milligan (The Burying Kind, The Joy Thieves).

Horizon Sinking is a brooding mid-tempo piece with industrial metal vibes that has Terry Cooke (Fakzility) on vocal duties and Frederik Vorderhake (Liquid Black Goo) on guitar.

The third effort slows down a bit more and drags the listener into the sad dirge named But Us featuring Jan Van Coppenolle (Numbered Men) on vocals.

The Needle then continues into a nightmare-ish beat-driven soundscape where Colin Cameron's (Slighter, HeatSync, Gr^ve) quiet vocal delivery creepily describes the audience's downfall.

Closing off the tracklist is Where From Here. A heavy industrial orchestral slab that has Kimberly (Bow Ever Down) on vocals accompanied by Dan Milligan (The Burying Kind, The Joy Thieves) who added some gorgeous guitar and synth layers.
